this is a hobby site. play nice. that's the spirit. the rest is detail.
the deal
funnypile is free to use. there are no accounts. you don't need to agree to anything to play with the tools — but if you create a poll, vote, or otherwise do a thing here, you're agreeing to these terms.
what's not okay
- illegal content — hate speech, threats, doxxing, csam, etc.
- spam, scraping, automation that abuses the rate limits
- polls that exist to harass a specific person
- polls that misrepresent themselves as official from an org you don't represent
- any attempt to break, deface, or overload the service
if you do these things, your poll will be removed and your IP may be blocked. no warning, no appeal — it's a hobby site and we don't have a moderation team.
polls are public
anyone with a poll URL can see it. anyone can vote in it. don't put anything in a poll you wouldn't want indexed on the open web.
we can remove stuff
we may delete any poll for any reason. usually that reason is "it violates the list above," but we don't owe you a reason.
no guarantees
this service is provided "as-is." it may go down. polls may be lost. votes may be miscounted by a bug we haven't found yet. don't use it to run an election. don't use it for anything where being wrong matters.
changes
we may update these terms at any time. material changes will be noted on the page. last updated 2026-05-16.
